1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.
I am a freelance model/acting student at a community school, looking to move on to a conservatory in a year or two. I love sci-fi/fantasy and rock & roll.
2) How long have you been costuming? What kind of experiences have you had?
This is my third major costume purchase/creation. (Others include Slytherin Quidditch Robes, Eowyn's Shieldmaiden dress.)
3) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?
Well, I have always been a HUGE Star Wars fan and Leia is just the only main girl around when I was a kid. I used to wear her white senatorial robes when I was younger (to cons and stuff), but I think that the Slave Bikini is her BEST outfit.
4) What is it about Slave Leia that inspires you to portray her?
She killed Jabba with the very chains that bound her! What could be sweeter?
5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia?
When I saw Episode III at midnight. My boyfriend dressed as Han Solo and some guys yelled out "ALRIGHT HAN! WAY TO GO!" and I was amused.
6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why?
"Barabajagal" by Donovan. Because I would show Jabba that I can ROCK OUT and that he should MESS with me!
7) Any final words?
Star Wars has been such a great escape for me over the years and I love it. I'm gonna keep truckin' Star Wars style for as long as I can!
