| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I am from the Bay Area in California and am currently a student. I have been married for a few years and we are the proud parents of a daughter named Leia. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? For the past few years my husband has been a member of the 501st Legion. I always enjoyed tagging along as a handler/photographer. In 2006 I officially became a member myself. I started off with an Imperial officer costume. After a few months, I decided to complete my Biker Scout armor and first wore it to Celebration 4... I can be found under TB-2324 on the 501st Legion website. 3) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I obtained my metal bikini in 2007 and finally completed it that December. Being in the 501st, I always wore costumes with my hair tied back or under a helmet. After seeing the Slave Leia photo shoot at CIV, I decided I wanted to wear a costume in which I actually looked like a girl. 5) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? I'm not much of a dancer but if I were to dance, probably "Glamorous" because anyone can dance to a Fergie/Black Eyed Peas beat! And how can you not feel glamorous in the Slave Leia costume. =) 7) Any final words? For more info on me, check out www.myspace.com/mommabarbie Thanks Barbie! |
