| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. My stage name is Bonnie Delight (although it really is my first and middle name!). I've got a degree in theater and I enjoy all kinds of art, but especially photography and clothing, clothing, clothing! 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I've been making my own clothes and costumes since I was very young. I guess I really like playing dress-up! I use this hobby in my work. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I can't even remember! But I know I liked it a lot. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I have to admit that it was my partner who drove me to make mine! He told me we had booked a little show at a small science fiction convention and we talked about what kind of number I should do. It was Slave Leia or the Green Girl from Star Trek, so I chose the one that didn't take all day getting painted! 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? I only did it once, but it was really fun to dance for a room full of Star Wars fans! There was a little boy in the front row and I think he fell in love with me! 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? I don't know! But when I danced at the convention, I used the disco version of "The Empire Strikes Back," so I guess that would be my choice! 7) Any final words? Slave Leia is a fun costume. I'll have to do it again someday! Thanks Bonnie! |
