| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I am a dance instructor/performer. I enjoy crochet, reading sci/fi and sewing. I make costumes for dance all the time. I have a 16 month old son who will definately be a Star Wars character for Halloween. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I have made many costumes for Halloween and dance performances. I spent several years as a librarian, so many of my costumes were literary. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I saw it in the theater the first time it came out. However, I was very young so I only have flashes. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? This was my first metal bikini. I made it in May. I was invited to an event called The Carnality Ball and the invitation said "be your fantasy." I have always wanted to wear the bikini, so I thought this was the perfect chance. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? Some women walked up to me and started jumping up and down and screaming about how cool my costume was. Most people just came in their underwear, so everyone agreed mine was the most creative. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? "Still Dirty" by Christina Aguilera. It just makes me want to dance. 7) Any final words? I can't wait to wear the bikini again! Thanks Cara! |
