Due to the success of Celebration III, and to commemorate the 30 year anniversary of 1977's A New Hope, another Star Wars convention was held.  This time  it took place in Los Angeles, California, in the city's main convention center.  The world reknown sculpture and laser scanning company, Gentle Giant Studios, built a full scale version of their smaller Jabba the Hutt statue and throne.  It was a true masterpiece, painstakingly detailed to match the original movie puppet.  LeiasMetalBikini.com was very lucky to have it as the center piece for our group photo.  Special thanks also goes to our official photographer Britt Dietz and to the fighting 501st Stormtrooper Legion for helping to hold back the crowds.

The final photo (left) is available as a full color, high resolution print  suitable for framing.  Visit Britt's
website for more information.
