| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. Hmmmm, well there is that fondness for PVC... oh nevermind. I enjoy movies, reading and music (guess those aren't hobbies though). I love costumes. I'm not real handy with a needle and thread, but I love to put together items to create costumes. Halloween ought to be a holy day. :-) 2) How long have you been costuming? What kind of experiences have you had? I have been into costumes my entire life. I was Dracula when I was 6... complete with widow's peaked wig. I was the Bride of Frankenstein one year, and used 5 cans of hairspray to get the required height of the coif! Strange.... seems to be a reccuring "hair" theme, here. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I was about 13 at the time and I remember my predominent feeling was that my love of Luke was diminishing as my fascination with Darth increased. I always did go for the wicked ones!! 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I'm a newby. I just got it a little over a month ago. I was considering making one but, due to my afore mentioned pathetic skills, was afraid I might be making a future "Girls Gone Wild at Sci-Fi Conventions" entry. I could just see me all dressed up.... then suddenly! Major costuming malfunction. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? It would have to be the Slave Leia photo shoot at DragonCon 2007. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? "Boba Fett" by MC Chris, of course. ;-) It's got a good beat. LOL 7) Any final words? Damn, this costume is SMALL!! Thanks Duanne! |
