| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I am 28 years old. I work from home selling stuff on Ebay. Before that I worked in security and loss prevention. I have been dating my boyfriend, Brian, for over 3 1/2 years. I have 5 pets. I like to camp, fish, hike, swim, watch movies, dress up in costume, and hang out with my friends. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I have been dressing up since I was a child. Every year the costumes seem to get more fancy and expensive. I have never made them myself, because I can't sew, but I do sometimes give the designers ideas. I have been Princess Leia in the slave costume, fallen angel, sorceress, courtesan, belly dancer, gypsy, Xena and more. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I had never seen any of the Star Wars movies until they started redoing them in '97. Now I love them though! 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I bought it for last Halloween from Posh Pixie Designs at http://hometown.aol.com/poshpixiedesigns/page1.html or at www.poshpixiedesigns.com. She made the costume to fit me perfectly. I had watched Return of the Jedi and loved the bikini costume and thought that it would be great for Halloween. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? I wore it last Halloween to a party at Ridgle Theater. I think just about every guy in the place approached me and said that was his favorite fantasy and how he wished his girlfriend would dress up like that. I had several women that came up and loved it and said how brave I was to wear it. Also, my most embarrasing moment was on my way to the stage for the costume contest. Someone stepped on my skirt and it came off. Luckily, I was in a very crowded room so none could see it. Then up on stage all I heard was "show us your tits!" The referee girl won the contest. It was still a lot of fun. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? Hmmm.... maybe "I Touch Myself" because it is such a sexy song! 7) Any final words? Girls, if you are going to wear one of these, make sure to do a practise run and mold those cups to your boobs. Also, if you are going to wear panties, make sure they are clear or skin colored string bikinis or thongs. If you are shy, wear flesh colored pantyhose as they cover you a little and make you look a little slimmer. I found out too late that the cape looked a little stupid, but do what you want and make sure to have fun. PS - Make sure the skirt will stay on! :-) Thanks Heather! |
