1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.
I was born and raised in Manhattan. Although I came into the Star Wars fandom a bit late, I'd say I caught up pretty quickly and it's one of my main hobbies now. I also like writing and I hope to work with animals one day.
2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had?
I started sewing when I was around 13 - 14. I kinda just learned on my own. Last year was the first time I took a formal sewing class. A Jedi was the first costume I made when I was 13 and I wore that one to pieces.
3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi?
I was 13, hehe. Like I said, I got a late start.
4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?
I started making the costume during the Fall of 2006. I wanted to see if I could take on the challenge of making it myself. And I knew it was every geek boy's dream, so I wanted to surprise my boyfriend. :-)
