| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. My name is Kayleigh and I live in a small city called Lincoln, which is in England. I also work with young children as a classroom assistant at my local primary school. My hobbies include having a laugh with the people of KOTE, which is a Star Wars costuming club in the United Kingdom. I like traveling and can't wait to visit Tokyo in the summer with my boyfriend. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? Apart from dressing up for Children in Need, a charity event, I haven't really been dressing up for long but I soon hope to change all that. My next project is getting hold of a Padme outfit, the white battle one from Attack Of The Clones. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? It took me a while to get into Star Wars, but I certainly remember watching it as a child and being particularly scared of Jabba the Hutt. Thankfully I now got over that fear. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? Mainly because my partner was getting a Stormtrooper outfit and felt rather left out. The one costume I wanted was Leia's Metal Bikini and couldn't believe my luck when I came across this site selling them on eBay. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? I haven't got one really, but I certainly hope to change all that when I attend my first trooping event in Liverpool with the rest of the group. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? Couldn't really think of one until my partner suggested "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix A Lot, which I thought was rather rude but some how I think Jabba would like it. 7) Any final words? Apart from thank you to Jamin for the fantastic costume, please visit my site for more pictures at www.thetrapdoor.org/index_chris_and_kayleigh. Thanks Kayleigh! |
