| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I'm an illustrator and still in college (occasionally, haha), majoring in illustration, minor in art history. My hobby is making costumes! As of now, I have around 70.... heh. I have two dogs and a cat, and I live in the middle of nowhere, TN. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I made my first costume (with my grandmother's help!) for Halloween 1999. In 2001 I started going to conventions, and I got hooked. I like to change up my conventions every year so I can travel to new cities :-D But I always go to DragonCon in Atlanta, it's far and away my favorite. A costumer's dream. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I have no idea, it's always just sort of been a part of my life. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I bought it this year for the San Diego Comic Con. I wanted to do this costume for a while, but thought I never would. I never thought I had the guts to do it. I decided I wanted to make more Leia costumes, but I was stumped as to how to do this one - I'm no good at making armour or other "hard" costumes, so I was delighted by this site where I could buy it. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? Getting my picture on the StarWars.com Comic Con pics :-D 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? Ah, I don't know, something by David Bowie I suppose. 7) Any final words? Be good, and if you aren't good, don't get caught. Thanks Kell! |
