1)  Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.

I'm from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and I work in television.  I love Star Wars.  I'm really into costuming and spend most of my free time sewing.  Always have something I'm working on and many new costumes waiting to be started.

2)  How long have you been costuming?  What kinds of experiences have you had?

I started costuming in 2002.  I fell in love with the picnic dress from Attack of the Clones and just had to have it and haven't stopped making costumes since then.  That costume got me into my local FanForce group where we do a lot of costumed events and go to conventions - my first one being Celebration III which was one of the most amazing things I've ever done, a trip that will never be forgotten.

3)  What's your earliest memory of seeing
Return of the Jedi?

I remember going to see it at the drive-in with my family when it first came out.

4)  When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?

I got my first bikini in 2005.  I've always been fascinated by it.  A lot of hard work and research went into it.  It's not an easy costume to figure out, it's the first costume I've made that didn't really require any sewing.  I got all my inspiration from
Sith@Heart's costume.  I couldn't figure out how to get started till I saw her's and just went from there.  I made the top and collar out of wire and my second versions of the front and back bottom pieces are made from sintra.

5)  What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia?

My favorite memory of wearing it is from when I wore it to Conversion-22 and got to judge the costume contest with Jeremy Bulloch.

6)  If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why?

"Stars are Blind", because I can make it nice and naughty.    :-P

7)  Any final words?

I just want to thank my friends Jason, Terry and
Erin for all their help and great ideas that went into making my costume.

Thanks Liann!
