| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I'm originally from Tennessee, but now live in Georgia. I love movies and anything having to do with movies. Dressing up is a lot of fun, especially when you have a cool, revealing costume. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I have actually just started looking into a costuming interest. I have never made anything, with the exceptions of Barbie clothes and some random makeshift models of outfits. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? Wow, I don't even remember my first time seeing it. All I can remember now is watching the new DVDs. I used to watch A New Hope everytime it was on TV. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I got my first metal bikini the Wednesday afternoon before Celebration 3 officially began. The whole thing started as a joke among me and some friends at a small convention in Memphis. They asked if they got or made me one, would I wear it and I answered "yes". A few months later, I was being fitted for my metal bikini. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? My favorite would have to be all the attention. I've never really been one to want that much attention but, I have to say, that was the most fun. Coming in as a close second would be meeting the other slaves. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? I have to say "Yeah" by Usher, Ludacris and Lil' Jon. I don't really know why, but I love that song. 7) Any final words? I can't wait to dress up and do this again. I will probably have a new costume (done by myself this time), because my last one started falling apart on me. See you around.... Thanks Lori! |
