| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I'm an illustrator and designer. I'm an art professor in my manga school, too. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I have always liked costuming since I was a kid. I won the first prize in 2001 with my dress of Lulu from Final Fantasy. I was the first one in France to make this costume. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I was very young. It was on TV. I loved it! When I was a kid, I had a big Ewoks poster above my bed. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? It was in 2002 for Episode 2. I made it myself. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? My first time: the first screening of Episode 2 in Lausanne, Switzerland. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? A John Williams song. Princess Leia's theme perhaps. 7) Any final words? One day, I will make an Amidala or Padme costume. They are so great! Thanks Melina! |
