1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.
I'm 22 years old and graduating from college in May 2005. I live in Philadelphia and my first fandom experience was going to Celebration 2.
2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had?
I was a casual costumer before going to C2. I dressed up for ren fairs once in a while and Halloween every year, but that was the extent of it. After C2, I really dove into the costuming world and have been sewing and putting together armor ever since. I'm very involved in my local garrison of the 501st, the Northeast Remnant, and enjoy doing charity events as well as going to cons.
3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi?
ROTJ was the first Star Wars film I ever saw since it came out a couple of months after I was born. The only reason I really wanted to see it at first was because I was a fan of the Ewok Adventure at a young age and heard that ROTJ had ewoks in it as well.
4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?
I got my costume right before Celebration 3. I just thought it would be something fun to wear. It was a bit of an impulse buy when I saw it on this site.
5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia?
I only just wore my Slave Leia costume for the first time at C3, so I guess it has to count as my favorite memory since it's the only one I have yet.
