| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. My husband is a 501st Legion member, so my hobbies include a lot of events that he attends such as parades and conventions. I also have a wonderful 5 year old son that loves to dress up as well. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I have had my Leia costume for almost a year. I have worn it for Halloween and the San Diego Comic Con. I plan to wear it for the next Celebration IV convention and perhaps anything else that may require me to be in costume. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I used to watch ROTJ with my parents on a regular basis when I was growing up as well as The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope. Even now it is atleast a weekly basis of watching Star Wars. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I got my metal bikini a year ago. My husband got his Stormtrooper costume first and I followed shortly after with the metal bikini. We are both huge fans, what can I say? This is how we both show our support. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? At the San Diego convention, I was overwhelmed by the amount of people wanting to get their picture taken with me. It is a great feeling. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? I would have Gnarles Barkley dress up again with the band and play the song "Crazy". I shouldn't have to tell you why, but that was the coolest thing I have seen a band do. 7) Any final words? Thanks for adding me to the website and for this experience. Thanks Nikki! |
