| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I'm married with two kids, I have a Master's in Physics and I try to run and work out as much as possible. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kinds of experiences have you had? I am new to this! My husband got me into it after he finished his Stormtrooper armor. We hosted and went to quite a few parties in October, which was a lot more fun than I expected! 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I am a fan through association with my husband. I guess he paid more attention to Leia for some reason than I did! 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I told my husband that if he found a good costume, I would wear it! Well, he did. The molds were the first from Obscenities (Carey Hawkins), and my husband did all of the material hunting and assembly. We still have a few parts to go for it to be completely accurate. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? We actually went to a gay club that has a space theme (Starbase Q), and had a great time! I couldn't get over how many people wanted to get photos with me, especially gay men! 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? The Atomic Dog..... I just like dancing to that song.... The more beers, the better the dancin'! 7) Any final words? Love the site!! Thanks Sarah! |
