1)  Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.

In my spare time, I like to make stuff for my Ebay store.  I have a hard time sitting still, so I'm constantly doing home improvements.  I like to hike when it's not 120 degrees in Phoenix.  Not a huge comic or sci-fi fan.  I have a friend (www.scifiscoundrels.com) who is a sci-fi nut and they were my inspiration for making the costume initially.

2)  How long have you been costuming?  What kinds of experiences have you had?

I started making the Slave Leia costume a couple years ago.  That's the only costume I've made, other than Halloween stuff.  I hadn't planned on selling them but in my attempts to improve the costume, I had nothing to do with the ones that were already completed, so I started selling them.  For the future....  I'm trying to make the white costume that Leeloo wears in The Fifth Element.

3)  What's your earliest memory of seeing
Return of the Jedi?

Hard to say, that was many, many years ago.  Mostly the girly stuff, ya know.  Han was cute??  I wanted to be Leia.

4)  When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?

I made my first one several years ago.  I made it to impress a boy.  Kinda embarrassing to admit, especially since I don't think he ever saw me in it.  His loss!!!

5)  What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia?

I've worn several different versions of mine the last few Halloweens.  It's always great.  There aren't many (or any here in AZ) of those costumes out there and everyone is always impressed with how well made it is.  Very original.  I'm very proud of mine.  They take many hours of work, but are very appreciated by the boys!!

6)  If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why?

Wow, that's hard to say.  Would a slow dance be out of the question??

Thanks Stephany!
