1)  Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background.

I am 29 years old, originally from Georgia, but live in upstate New York now.  I've been sewing for many years and costuming only a few.  I am a new mom, so most of my time now is spent with her, but I do run a small
online store where I make and sell diaper bags, pet carriers and some costumes.  Other than sewing, I enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, and gardening.

2)  How long have you been costuming?  What kinds of experiences have you had?

I guess I "started" when I was young and my mother filled a dress up trunk with all kinds of vintage clothes and odd items.  I worked for a costumer in NYC for a bit, though, which really got me into it.  I've had the experience that as soon as I finish something, I want to make it again and BETTER!

3)  What's your earliest memory of seeing
Return of the Jedi?

I can't remember the first time, but I guess in college was when I re-saw it like it was the first time.

4)  When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it?

I actually saw the one from this site, I think, on ebay last year and loved it and decided to make one.  I finished my first one this year.  I had no idea where to start....

5)  What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia?

None yet....  maybe if I get rid of my baby belly, I'll wear it this Halloween....

6)  If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why?

I'm thinking "Guantanamera"....   maybe it is just in my head, but I think a Latin song would let you dance and plan....

7)  Any final words?

I'm happy to meet you and see all the Leias'!  I'm excited to start on another bikini.  Thanks!

Thanks Tonya!
