| 1) Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and background. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and now live in North Carolina where I work as a Layout Designer/Administrator for a Spanish Language Newspaper. I also write movie reviews on the side for the same paper. I have a decent Star Wars collection, mostly toys, which I treasure a lot. My hobbies include painting, reading and movies. 2) How long have you been costuming? What kind of experiences have you had? I don't really consider myself a serious costumer. This is my first major costume, but I love the experience so far. When I went to a Star Wars premiere, there was a costume contest a friend was hosting that I managed to win (Thanks Jamin). I'm planning on wearing it on Halloween and my boyfriend is constantly urging me to wear it for his viewing pleasure. 3) What's your earliest memory of seeing Return of the Jedi? I was extremely young. My uncle would play them while he babysat me and I just stayed glued to the TV. I was hooked early on. 4) When did you get your first "metal bikini" and what drove you to it? I just got mine in 2005, just before the release of Episode III. I had been wanting it for more than a year, slowly saved and decided to get it. I'd always be the regular Princess Leia (white costume) growing up, but I still wanted to be Leia with more of an edge and sex appeal. I love the way I feel when I wear it and love the attention, too. 5) What is your favorite memory of appearing as Slave Leia? So far, winning a costume contest for the premiere. 6) If you danced for Jabba the Hutt, what song would you dance to and why? Donno. Probably something sexy, R & B or Jazz. 7) Any final words? May the Force be with all of you... The site gets better and better everytime I see it. Keep up the good work! Thanks Vanessa! |
